A little while ago I showed the Deutschland v Uruguay card from a series called Die Welt in Bilden (The World in Pictures). Six other football cards were included in the Die Welt in Blidern series'. All six comes Set 2.
The cards were issued by a wide range of tobacco manufacturers in Germany. I've included the backs of three other issuers (I couldn't find the football ones from these though). In fact, the product is on its way to hobby shops across the globe at this very moment in anticipation of its widespread release next Wednesday. For the first time ever, the greatest soccer superstars on the planet come together in a Donruss brand bolstered by old-school collecting principles, bold colors, lots of inserts and parallels, and one autograph per box.
Earlier this week, Panini America Brand Manager Aik Tongtharadol spent some quality time Quality Controlling the long-awaited 2015 Donruss Soccer at the company printing facility across town. In the resulting gallery below, we showcase just some of the highlights from that process.
Each box of 2015 Donruss Soccer (eight cards per pack, 24 packs per box, $3 SRP per pack) delivers one autograph, four numbered parallels, two base-set National Team photo variations and between 24 and 48 inserts. The product’s parallel roster includes the venerable Press Proofs (Bronze numbered to 299, Silver numbered to 199 and Gold numbered to 99), holofoil Red and Green Soccer Balls (numbered to 49 and 25, respectively) and holofoil Gold and Black Panini Logos (numbered to 10 and one, respectively).

A little while ago, I included details of a 12 card Top Trumps collection that was issued in India in two different versions, that was the mini version of 12 cards. This is the 30 card collection that was issued in two different formats -a Deluxe version in a cardboard box similar to the one the 12 card set was issued in, and a Super Deluxe version in a plastic flip case more familiar to UK collectors. I have to thank Mark Avenell for sending all the photos shown here for this illustrated checklist along with the title card and the reverse of one of the cards. I've also included photos of how the two formats were issued.
